seo Add Google Adsense to Blogger Header (Above the Title) 2013

Seo Master present to you:

In the past tutorials ( See: Social Media Buttons beside Adsense ads Adsense inside Blogger Header ) i've shared several tricks for Adsense ads placement that may help you to increase your adsense earnings. Now, i will show you how to add Google Adsense above your header, for instance just above the title of your Blogger blog. This can be done by adjusting your template to give you the option of adding more than one widget to the header area.

Add a new element to Blogger header

1. If you are using the old Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Design - Edit HTML - (make a backup) Expand Widget Template

If you are using the new Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Template - Edit HTML - Proceed - (make a backup) Expand Widget Template

2. Next try to find (CTRL + F) this piece of code:

...if you can't find that one, search for this one:

3. Immediately after one of these lines, you'll see this code:

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'>

4. Replace the values in red like in this example below:

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='3' showaddelement='yes'>

5. Save the Template.

Adding the Adsense ad unit above the Blogger header

1. Navigate to Design > Page Elements and view the new option to add a gadget to the header area

2. Click on Add a Gadget link and select the Google Adsense gadget.

Choose the type of ad unit you want. For this example I chose a new linked 728x15 ad unit from the dropdown format menu for an AdSense ad that would sit above the blog title. Configure colors if necessary. Color blending is usually done automatically by Blogger according to the color schema of your template.

3. Click Save

Now View your Blog to see your new Google Adsense unit. If all is going well, your new AdSense ad unit should appear something like in the image below:

This is a very good Adsense placement, i'm sure you're gonna like it

seo How to add a gadget/widget inside your Blogger Blog header 2013

Seo Master present to you: Maybe you have seen that many blogs have AdSense Units or other ads and widgets in the header section of the blog, the most popular format being the AdSense 468x60 ad unit - see in the screenshot below:

But how we can add something inside blogger header - be it a Adsense unit, a search bar, social media buttons or a widget? By simply adding a section in the header. First off, to give space for the extra gadget to fit in, our blogger header should be resized.

A. Resize blogger header

Step 1: Go to Blogger Dashboard > Template > Edit HTML and backup your template

Step 2: Click anywhere inside the code area and open the search box by using the CTRL + F keys:
adsense, blogger tricks, blogger widgets

Step 3: Search for this piece of code:
/* Header
----------------------------------------------- */
Note: If you can't find it, search only for the first line:
/* Header

Screenshot:
blogger gadgets, blogger widgets, blogspot tricks

Step 4: Replace it with this code:
/* Header
----------------------------------------------- */
.header-left{
display: inline-block;
height: 35px;
width: 350px;
float: left;
}
.header-right {
display:inline-block;
float:right;
}

Change the pixels in red with the image's height and width of your blogger header and change float: left; to float: right; if you want to change the position of your logo.

Step 5: Find the below code:
<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'>

Step 6: Replace it with:
<b:section class='header header-left' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'>

Now "Preview" your template, you will find that the background color of Blogger's header is not visible or it's missing. To bring it back, you need to add some more snippets:

Step 7. Find the following code:

Step 8. Just above it, paste this:

Note: if you can't find the code from step 7, search for this instead:
      <b:include name='description'/>

  </b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>
</b:section>
... and paste the code from step 8 just below it.

B. Add extra gadget/widget section to Blogger Header

Let's go one step forward and add an extra gadget section within Blogger header in new template designers.

Step 9. Just below the code from step 8, paste this codejust before/above it:
<b:section class='header-right crosscol' id='header-right' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='yes'/>

Step 10. Now find:
</b:skin>

Step 11. Paste just above it, this CSS code:
.header-right {
display:inline-block;
float:right;
width:400px;
}

Change the width that is marked in red color. Increase or decrease the pixels according to your needs and positioning new header section.

Step 12. Save the Template.

Step 13. Now all you have to do is to go to Layout and Add a Gadget to the newly created extra header section in Blogger.

widgets for blogger, blogger tricks

The widget now should appear side by side.

seo Tips and tricks for Adsense account approval 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Getting Adsense approval is one of the biggest challenge for the bloggers. Adsense has become much more strict these days giving approval to webmasters. However, following some of the basic points could lead to faster Adsense account approval to you. Here are some of the points for quick Adsense Approval. Although you can't really call these points tips and tricks, but they are the normal rules you should adhere to in order to getting a Adsense account.

  • Get a custom domain. Buy a custom domain for your blog. Google has almost stopped considering .blogspot blogs. I am not saying that its impossible with blogspot domain but getting a custom domain will double your chances for approval. A custom domain will cost you not more than 10$ for a year. And domain hosting like Godaddy have discount coupons which ensures domain in as less as 3$.
  • Have some content. Don' apply with little content. Build your site and have some good quality posts. Before applying publish at least 50 articles with about 500 words each. In the beginning, you can post 2-3 articles per day. Do you think Google will show interest in approving a web blog with 10 articles? I don't think so. No one is having interest in showing ads on your website which have no content or very less.
  • Have some visitors. There is no pre-requisite of traffic for applying to Adsense. However, it don't make sense to apply for a blog with low visitors. Even if you get approval you won't be making any such money. Market your blog on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus. You will surely get good amount of traffic. Connect with people of your niche.
  • Good website design. Have a good website design. If you are on blogger, go for third party templates. There are hundreds of free and professional looking templates across the internet. Just Google it. As they say, if you can't make good, make it look good. At least.
  • Include about us and privacy policy page: Google has made it mandatory to include privacy policy. Create one yourself and if you don't wanna complications, Google it. There are thousand of websites ready to make a privacy policy for you for free. Including a About us page is better. It should include information regarding you and other authors and the primary aim of the websites.
There is no fixed rules or tips and tricks defined for Adsense approval. However, following some these points will make your work easy. Good luck. Make some money.

seo Top 5 reasons for Adsense ban 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Getting Adsense ban is one of the most frustrating thing for a blogger. Adsense being the toughest in advertising market, ensures that there is no fraud involved anywhere in the whole publisher-advertiser process. However, some of the bloggers try to cheat Adsense by not following some of the program policies leading to the banning of their account. For ensuring that you don't be one of the victim of this ban, here is a 5 prominent reasons for Adsense ban and you should avoid these in all cases.

  • Never click on your own Ads. Do you think you can fool Google with thousands of highly qualified professionals working day and night for stopping frauds? Never try clicking on your own ads. You will lead yourself to ban. Google monitors every click and try not to click on any system on which you have used your Google accounts. Clicking your Ads may lead to permanent ban of your account and you will may be never get your account back. If somehow by mistake you click on your own ads, contact Google as soon as possible mentioning your mistake.
  • Don't encourage anyone to click on your ads. Encouraging someone to click ads on your page is strictly against the terms of services of Adsense. Never go for it. Write good contents, people will get to your blog, and chances are that will get to the ads also, since they are very contextual. You have to market your blog, not the ads on it. Good quality content will drive traffic and more traffic will have more chances of you for earning.
  • Location of ads on your blog. Don't trick Google. Don't make Adsense ads look like a part of content. Maintain adequate space between two ads or between ads and contents. Don't put ads on Login or registration pages or thank you pages. Don't put them near flash contents since its harder to guess which one is ad. Don't put ads in popups or emails. They are not allowed under Google Adsense terms.
  • Don't change the ads. Never try to tamper the Google ads code. Use the code which is generated in your Adsense account. Doing so will lead to chances of your account ban. Google strictly prohibits alteration of code. Never change of layout, behavior, targeting or delivery of ads. There are a lot of layout ads for you and chances are that you will find any suitable for yourself.
  • Contents restriction to the ads. Never put ads on those sites which have contents that are not allowed under Google Adsense policies like adult/mature contents, pages that promote gambling, or are violent and hateful. Don't put ads on porn sites and on pages whose contents are copied from copyrighted material of someone else. No advertiser would want to display their ads on porn sites or a site selling drugs.
Keeping all these points in mind while working with Adsense will ensure your smooth relation with Google. If you think you can fool someone like Google by fooling them or by violating their terms of services then you may be a fool. Go, try it and get banned. For sure.!!

FAQ

I anticipated some questions likely to arise:

I can't find the codes, what should I do?
Always check the "Expand Widget Templates" checkbox. These are the default codes of Blogger and should be found in all the templates unless they have been changed by a hack or the template designer.

Why should I convert my AdSense code?
The Blogger's Template reads it as text and not as code and it is good to avoid any errors when trying to save it.

The ads are not displaying properly, why is that?
The ads could be affected by the styles (CSS) selectors (divs) containing them and some templates could be wrong designed, then you should consider modifying these styles, look for another relevant place or in extreme cases, change the template.

Can I put the all 10 codes on my blog?
No, you should choose just one of the places where you want to put the ads considering that AdSense have some limits on the number of ads that could be displayed. Try to make a balance with your content.

Why we there should be only 3 ads displayed on the main page?
Is due to the limit set by the AdSense. Combine the type of ads (text, rich media ads and link units) to be able to show the number of ads you want.

Hopefully, this will be useful to those of you wanting to display AdSense ads on your blog.2013, By: Seo Master

seo Your Web, Half a Second Sooner 2013

Seo Master present to you: At Google we’re constantly trying to make the web faster — not just our corner of it, but the whole thing. Over the past few days we’ve been rolling out a new and improved version of show_ads.js, the piece of JavaScript used by more than two million publishers to put AdSense advertisements on their web pages. The new show_ads is small and fast, built so that your browser can turn its attention back to its main task — working on the rest of the web page — as soon as possible. This change is now making billions of web pages every day load faster by half a second or more.

The old show_ads did lots of work: loading additional scripts, gathering information about the web page it was running on, and building the ad request to send back to Google. The new show_ads has a different job. It creates a friendly (same-origin) iframe on the web page, and starts the old script with a new name, show_ads_impl, running inside that iframe. The _impl does all the heavy lifting, and in the end the ads look exactly the same. But there’s a substantial speed advantage: many things happening inside an iframe don’t block the web browser’s other work.

How much of an effect this has depends on context: a page with nothing but ads on it isn’t going to get any faster. But on the real-world sites we tested, the latency overhead from our ads is basically gone. Page load times with the new asynchronous AdSense implementation are statistically indistinguishable from load times for the same pages with no ads at all.

The new show_ads is a drop-in replacement for the old one: web site owners don’t need to do anything to get this speed-up. But these dynamically-populated friendly iframes are finicky beasts. For now, we’re only using this technique on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 8, with more to come once we’re sure that it plays well with other browsers.

And what if you’ve built a page that loads AdSense ads and then manipulates them in exotic ways not compatible with friendly iframes? (This is the web, after all, land of “What do you mean that’s ‘not supported’? I tried it, and it worked!”) You can set “google_enable_async = false” for any individual ad slot to revert to the old blocking behavior. But if your site loads ads in some tortuous way because you were looking for latency benefits, consider giving the straightforward invocation of show_ads.js a whirl. Because now, we’re fast.

seo Why blogger is better than wordpress 2013

Seo Master present to you:
For a new blogger, its really a confusing part to choose the best platform for themselves. There are a lot of platforms available for blogging as I have written in the article First step towards blogging. I personally started with both the WordPress and Blogger and then concluded that Blogger is better than WordPress In this post I am gonna talk to you why Blogger is better than WordPress for a beginner.

  • The most important of using Blogger over WordPress is that some bloggers don't want to spend their time understanding complexities of the platforms and the way it works. Since Blogger is much easier and everything with a click support, they have much time for utilization in creating quality contents rather than other factors.

  • Ease of use. For a beginner Blogger is better. Its easy to set up and use. Making posts is as easy as using MS word. Dashboard is clean and simple. Adding pre-existing tools and widgets are easier.
  • More Secure. Blogger is a Google's part. They are much more secure than WordPress and the chances of being hacked in WordPress is zero.
  • Hosting on blogger is free. That means you just have to pay for a domain, redirect it to your .blogspot blog and enjoy. No need to worry about host settings, paying for hosting and always monitoring traffic to your blog. WordPress is a self hosted site, that means you will have to buy host space in order to have a custom website.
  • Adsense Integration. Getting Adsense approval for blogger is easier than WordPress (although no one confirms it). Blogger provides an inbuilt integration for Adsense in their dashboard and you don't need to install plug-ins to show Adsense ads.
  • Analytic. Blogger support Google Analytic with the same account. No need to have multiple accounts for webmaster, analytic, Adsense, blog account. All with one user id and password.
  • Faster Indexing. Blogger posts are indexed much faster as compared to Wordpress. The posts are indexed within hours of publish and thus are available for search engine resulting in traffic to your blogs.
However, Blogger has some disadvantage of fewer templates, and less customization features. But, with all these plus points, A beginner can surely opt for Blogger. With no need of understanding complexities, they can concentrate on creating a good post. That's why Blogger is better than WordPress.

seo How to create Google Adsense Account 2013

Seo Master present to you:

Google AdSense is the most popular option for monetizing online content, but sadly enough, many bloggers don't know how to create a Google Adsense account. Creating a AdSense account is very easy thing to do and for being accepted you just need a website or a blog indexed by Google, which should contain a minimum of 10 pages and most important, not violating Google Adsense policies.

Apply Account Approval

Before anything else, you have to apply for a Google Adsense account.
Just go to the Adsense homepage www.google.com/adsense and click on the "Sign up now" red button.

Now you must complete the Adsense registration form:

Step 1. Select your Google Account to continue

Step 2. Tell us about your content: enter your main website/blog URL where you want ads to be displayed, then select your website content language.

Read and pay attention to the Google Adsense policies, because if you violate the rules, your account might be disabled later. And unfortunately, you have small chances to get it back.

Rules:

1. I will not click on my ads nor encourage others to do so.
2. I will not place ads on sites that include adult content, including pornography.
3. I will not place ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials.
4. I do not already have a Google AdSense account.
5. I will not place ads on sites that include incentives to click on ads.

Check "I have read and agree...", and then press "Continue"

Step 3. Submit your adSense application: select your account type and enter your personal information (country, your real name, address, phone). These informations will be used when you will receive your payment. Next, press "Submit my application" to finish with the registration.

After submit the form Google will review your blog and your registration. Wait maximum 2 weeks to get your AdSense registration approved... or rejected. Google will send you an email to your inbox if your account has been approved.

seo Google adsense optimization tips 2013

Seo Master present to you: adsense, what is google adsense, earn with adsenseWhat is Google AdSense?

Google AdSense is a free program run by Google that allows you to display Google adverts on your blog/website and pays you everytime someone clicks on one of these ads. Just submit your blog to Google for approval and after your content has been approved, you are ready to place AdSense ads on your website. But beware, Google AdSense doesn't approve any sites! According to AdSense policy you are not allowed to do the following things:

1) Do not click on your own AdSense ads by any way.
2) Do not increase AdSense ad impressions with some automating tools.
3) Don’t ask others to click on your ads.
4) Don’t alter the AdSense code other than fonts and colors.
5) Don’t put AdSense code on adult or prohibited content.

Some basic optimization tips can double your AdSense revenue, so i've added a list of some of the best Google Adsense Tips and Tricks for making more money from the Google Adsense program.

Tips to Increase Google AdSense Earnings

1) Place the Adsense ads above the main fold that user can see your ad units without scrolling down on your site. This will increase your Ads Click Through Rate (CTR)

Because browsers and screen sizes vary, Google has created a nice tool that allows you to enter any URL, and check whether you've implemented your ads above the fold.

2) The best performing ad units for AdSense are:

250×250 Square
160×600 wide skyscraper
336×280 large rectangle
300×250 medium rectangle

Use them wisely. I suggest you to place 250 x 250 size ad units at the top of every post and align it at the right or left side of the post content. The 160×600 ad format can easily fit in the sidebar of your blogger blog.

3) You can use the following “heat map” provided by Google to analyze other top performing ad placement slots. You should concentrate on the areas with darker orange color which represents the hot spots of the ads slots. (see in the image below)

blogger blog, what is adsense, google analytics

4) Text ads are good for the first Google Ad unit. I also recommend you to place a 300×250 unit in the sidebar (or somewhere below the fold) – these generally serve CPM based ads and will help you monetize visits from places like Digg and StumbleUpon.

5) Ads placed in-between the content can also perform well. If you have small posts then put ads at the top of the page content. If you have big post then ad units placed at the bottom or middle of the post.

6) Do not use borders to your text ads or use them wisely.

7) To blend, choose the colors that match with the colors of your website: for example if your site background is black, you will put the same background for your Adsense ads. If your links are blue, then select the color blue for Adsense links. If your titles are red, then make your Adsense block titles red.

8) To complement, use colors that already exist on your site, but don't match the background and borders exactly where the ads are placed.

9) To contrast, choose colors that stand out against the background of your site. Contrasting is recommended only for sites with dark background, so we suggest using an ad style with white background, white borders, and blue titles. (google hints)

10) Use link units near the site navigation bar. The main advantages of this placement, are that they can perform well and you don't need too much Ad space on your site. This way, your site looks clean and also, your visitors will be annoyed.

11) Study your keywords and the target ads to these keywords. Usually, Google Adsense crawler searches for the first or second paragraph to target ads to that page so don't forget to add your page-targeted keywords at the beginning of your post.

12) MFA (made for AdSense) sites are websites created around AdSense keywords, and often, these are poor quality sites with little or no original content. Use Allow and block ads feature to block low paying or irrelevant ads showing on your site. And be careful when you're doing this, sometimes one ad unit can give you $0.01 in one country and $1 in other country.

13) Use Google Adsense ad preview tool to view what ads are showing on your site.

14) Many times you can earn you more AdSense revenue from Image search engines than with the regular web traffic. Upload good quality images and use text captions with alt tags to make sure that blog images rank good in Image Search results.

15) Add a search box at the top left region of your blog and use the word "search" in the submit button otherwise visitors might be confused and might not notice it. If you use a second search box, put it at the bottom of your pages.
