This post is part of Who's at Google I/O, a series of guest blog posts written by developers who are appearing in the Developer Sandbox at Google I/O.

Cloud9 is an online IDE for JS, Python, PHP and Ruby development. By placing all your code in the cloud, you can access your code anywhere, anytime and on any device. But what if you’re not online?

Working with web applications offline has been a difficult problem to solve. Traditional web applications required all the logic for HTML generation and user interaction to be located on a remote server. The "go offline" feature in some of the earliest browsers was hardly more than caching static content and could not deal with much interactivity.

Since the advent of AJAX, many websites and apps have moved to using JavaScript heavily on the client side, providing a much richer and smoother user experience. Now the ability to run a web application in full offline mode is within reach.

Cloud9 IDE is one such application. Built from the ground up to have the user interface running in the browser, the server application provides Cloud9 with WebDAV for file I/O, and APIs for project provisioning and authentication. For a rich offline experience, we would need to make the WebDAV API somehow available offline.

The first step in Cloud9’s offline experience has been to implement the HTML5 offline manifest, also known as Application Cache, to make sure the application loads smoothly while offline. The next step is to provide offline workspace synchronization using the new API provided in Google Chrome for local file system I/O. The Chrome file system implementation, based on the current W3C working draft, allows web applications to have access to the device (through a sandboxed file system). So even if you are marooned on a distant planet and disconnected from the collective, you can still work on your code.

Getting access to the local file system is very easy. The API method to call is the obviously named webkitRequestFileSystem, which takes options to create either a temporary or permanent file system, and to define the size of the sandbox location. The difference between temporary and permanent is quite clear, with temporary acting only as a cache: the files may disappear when the browser needs to free up disk space. Once the file system has been successfully created, you can do all the operations you expect, such as creating, deleting, copying, and moving files and directories.

More information on the full HTML file system API can be found at HTML5Rocks, which includes a detailed entry on what types of file system operations you can achieve with the API.

We are showcasing this feature at Google I/O, and will release this feature later this month on http://c9.io. We are working on creating a nice integration with Google App Engine too, so you can develop and deploy entirely online.

Update 5/11: Corrected information about temporary files; removed paragraph about having to start the browser with a special flag.

Come see Cloud9 in the Developer Sandbox at Google I/O on May 10-11.

Captcha Sniper is one of the most revolutionary pieces of support software created within the last 5 years. While there have been software packages like XRumer, SENuke XCR and Magic Submitter that have taken link building campaigns to a whole new level and put complete beginners at the forefront of link construction, most of these programs are only able to be run through semi-automatic means.

By far the biggest annoyance for automated Internet Marketing programs is the implementation of captchas. If you don't know what a captcha is then you're on the wrong website. However, if you want to know how you can beat them, you're in the right place.

Most of the software that I recommend to my readers have captcha implementation within them. Captchas are an extremely annoying thing to deal with when you're using software and having to pay for a captcha service or services can get very expensive.

If you're like me, you're building links for multiple websites at a time. So, while $7 for 1,000 captcha solves might not sound like a lot, it can quickly add up when you're talking about 9-10 websites. Now, imagine that you're running SENuke XCR, Magic Submitter or GSA Search Engine Ranker on your sites every week. That's $300-400 per week just on captchas. Why would we pay for that? Enter Captcha Sniper.

Simply put, this software is amazing. I save anywhere from $1,000-1,500 per month off of the initial purchase, which was less than $100. The thing that I have to explain is that CS does not solve ever captcha. It does solve a lot of them though. There are people that scream and yell because the software isn't compatible with all websites and I'm hear to say that they are right in that regard.

However, the tool is by far one of the most helpful for the majority of websites that require captchas for registration. Personally, I love this software and recommend it to everybody using automation software. So, let's get into the nitty gritty of this excellent program.

What Programs Can You Use Captcha Sniper On?

With a very fast look at the different programs that I have used CS with, here are just a few of the software packages that I use every day:

1. No Hands SEO
2. SENuke XCR
3. Magic Submitter
4. SB Bomber
5. Social Bookmarking Demon
6. WikiBomber
7. KeywordXP
8. GSA Search Engine Ranker

This is just a small list. The reality is that CS works with a lot of programs that it's not even designed to work with. For the most part, any program that uses the decaptcha.com or deathbycaptcha.com protocols is compatible with CS.

Go into any program that uses these protocols and select either of them. Enter anything into the "Username" and "Password" fields, open CS and it will start to solve the captchas automatically. More on this later.

Another thing that I love about this software is that more and more programs are being developed with CS implementation in mind. As older programs are being updated, captcha solving is being programed into the coding. Ask developers all over the Internet whether or not they are focusing on captcha solving for their new programs and you will get a resounding "yes!"

Don't overlook this as an "accessory," this is an essential, an absolute must for anybody using IM automation. This is a programs that is always being updated also, but we'll get to that a little later too.

Does It Even Work?

Yes, it works. Would I endorse it if it didn't work? No. Captcha Sniper very well with a bunch of different types of captcha. At this time, the most important captcha type that CS doesn't work with is recaptcha.

However, it's not really fair to say that it doesn't work with recaptcha. Over the last couple of months
that developers have been working on updates for the software and CS can now solve recaptcha with 20-25% success rates.

When I put CS to my own test I was easily hitting the 20-25% success rate with recaptcha. Depending on the different kinds of programs that you use it with you might not even have to worry with this. Some programs don't even use recaptcha websites for registration or article submission just to give you the best results.

Overall, when I used CS with SENuke XCR I was getting about a 70-75% success rate without having to use captcha services.  Some of the sites that the CS was working with were document sites like SlideShare, article sites like GoArticle and social media sites like Tumblr. If you like to use Magic Submitter, CS works really well with the different websites on the software. These include Webnode, Webs and Tripod Lycos.

I have never paid for a captcha service, so I don't really know how well CS stacks up against one. However, I I do know that it works well for me. When I use Captcha Sniper with SB Bomber I can have over 800 social bookmarks in under 30 minutes and it works even better with Social Bookmarking Demon.

How Does It Work?

I'm not going to get into the technical side of how the program works, primarily because I don't know how it works. What I do know is how I get it to work with my software. You can't just open the program and expect it to start solving captchas.

Remember when I said that the program runs off of the decaptcher and deathbycaptcha protocols? We're coming back to that now.

Load your program. It doesn't matter if you use SENuke, Magic Submitter or another program.
However find the "Captcha" section. This is probably in the "Preferences" section or something very similar.

You might even have a "Captcha Sniper" option within the software. Click on either of these if you have them. Now choose the deathbycaptcha or decaptcher option from the menu. Enter any username or password into the fields.

Open the CS program and click on the "Hosts Redirect" option from the menu if you want the program to default to your captcha service in the event that it can't solve the captcha. Click on the "Test Captcha Sniper" option and you're done!

Should I Buy It?

I don't know you, but I imagine that you're here because you're into Internet Marketing. If you use automation software a lot and your submission rates aren't that great, then you should buy it.

The developers are constantly coming up with new updates for the software and will continue to do
so as the world of captcha solving evolves. If you have ever spent a dime on captcha services, this software will save you a lot of money.

Its it better than the GSA Captcha Solver? Yes. The GSA Captcha Solver doesn't solve any recaptcha. CS at least gives you 20-25% on these. There are other captcha solvers out there, but CS is by far the most popular and the most effective. Weigh the costs and you'll quickly realize that you can't afford not to buy this! 2013, By: Seo Master
