Starting today, the AdSense Management API is available as part of AdSense Services in Google Apps Script. This means that you’ll be able to automate your AdSense reporting across Google products using a JavaScript cloud scripting language to do things like:
  • Create AdSense performance reports for your AdSense accounts in a Google spreadsheet.
  • Create a chart based on your AdSense reporting data and display it in a Google spreadsheet.
  • Embed your scripts in a Google Sites page, for instance to import a chart.
  • Use triggers to schedule the execution of your scripts, for instance to periodically update the chart imported in the Google Sites page.
spreadsheet with embedded chart

You can start using the service by checking out the reference documentation, which also contains some sample scripts, and by reading this tutorial, which implements the use cases mentioned above.

Based in London, Silvano Luciani joined Google in 2011 to make the AdSense API developers happier people. Before that, he has worked in Finland, Italy, Spain and the UK, writing web based configuration management tools for ISPs, social networks, web based training materials, e-commerce apps and more. He has recently discovered that he loves charts, and has finally started to play the drums in the London’s office music room. If you can call what he does "playing the drums".

seo How to Add Adsense Below Post Titles ? 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Insert Adsense ads code in Blogger Posts following will guide the you how to insert quảng cáo code củaGoogle Adsensevào Blogger , how is and apply with a number of quảng cáo khác like Adnet.vn, Bidvertiser ...Google Adsense is the most popular ad network on the planet. A lot of Blogger users also use it. It's an endless discussion where to place these ads on your blog for maximum exposure. The best ad places are around the header or above the posts or below the post titles. You can easily add adsense in your sidebar as a gadget. But Blogger doesn't allows us to directly place the ads below post titles. The ads below post titles have proven to be one of the most successful money making positions.

Before pasting the ad code in Blogger, we must make it compatible with Blogger format. So go to http://duytemplates.tintucmoivn.com/p/adsense-code-converter.html paste the ad code and convert it. You'll find the converted ad code in the bottom box there. Copy the converted ad code.
Open your Blogger account and go to Design then Edit HTML tab and checkExpand Widget Templates option.
Press Ctrl + f & find <data:post.body/> you'll see some code like this:

<data:post.body/>

Paste the converted ad code just before the above code. The result would look something like this:
Code Ads

<data:post.body/>

Click the PREVIEW button to see the result. Thought you might not see ads below post titles instantly because sometimes Adsense ads take some time to display.
After that save your template by clicking the SAVE TEMPLATE button.

Tip: Make Ads Appear Only on Post Pages

Usually, users don't like to see too many ads on a single page. So, we can hide the ads under post titles on main page. These ads will appear only when users will click the post title and go to the post page. To do that follow the steps above but after step 8 you have the converted ad code. Ad some more code in that converted code so that it should look like this:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
Code Ads
</b:if>

What I did here is that I've added an if condition to make the ads appear only on post pages. After that, follow the steps above to complete the tutorial.
Or
1 / Insert on the top and bottom post title but under the blog title In Design - Edit HTML - Click Expand Widget Templates Find the line (Ctrl + F):
Insert to just below it the following code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
Adsense code converter
</b:if>
2 / Insert into the bottom of each post In Design - Edit HTML - Click Expand Widget Templates Find the line (Ctrl + F): the same code

<data:post.body/> </ p>
</ div>
Inserted just below it the following code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
Adsense code converter
</b:if>
3 / time advertising to the left of each post In Design - Edit HTML - Click Expand Widget Templates Find the line (Ctrl + F):

Insert to just below it the following code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
Adsense code converter
</b:if>
4 / The right of each ad post In Design - Edit HTML - Click Expand Widget Templates Find the line (Ctrl + F):
Insert to just below it the following code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
Adsense code converter
</b:if>

seo Larger, brand-friendly ad sizes available in AdSense: 300x600 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Larger, brand-friendly ad sizes available in AdSense: 300x600

As screens grow and web content continues to become richer, the format and capabilities of ad units continue to evolve as well. One of the top requests from publishers in the last year has been to add larger ad sizes to our network, and today we’re excited to announce that the popular 300x600 unit will soon be available in your AdSense account.

The 300x600 unit, sometimes referred to as a half page unit, provides a larger space for advertisers to get their message across and can offer users rich engagement. As mentioned in our recently released Display Business Trends, the 300x600 is one of the fastest growing sizes by impressions and is indicative of a trend where publishers are offering more visually impactful ad sizes that are preferred by brand advertisers. Because this unit is new to our network, you’ll currently see a large number of text ads in these placements. Over time we’ll continue to build a wide range of text and display ad inventory eligible to appear in this full slot as well.

As with all ad sizes, it’s important to carefully consider the placement of ad units to ensure both users and advertisers have a great experience with your site. If you’d like more information on the performance of potential placements, check out our heat map in the AdSense Help Center.

If you have feedback about the 300x600 ad unit, feel free to leave a comment on our AdSense +page and discuss your thoughts with other publishers.

seo An async script for AdSense tagging 2013

Seo Master present to you: Author Photo
By Michael Kleber, Ads Latency Team

As part of our ongoing quest to make the Web faster, we're happy to share a new tag that publishers can use to request AdSense ads. This new tag is built around the modern
  2. A particular DOM element, inside of which the ad will appear. We use attributes of this element to configure the properties of the ad slot.
  3. A call to adsbygoogle.push(), which instructs us to fill in the first unfilled slot.
    <ins class="adsbygoogle"
    style="display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px"
    data-ad-client="ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
    data-ad-slot="yyyyyyyyyy"></ins>

The ad block size is based on the width and height of the <ins>, which can be set inline, as shown here, or via CSS. Other configuration happens through its data-* properties, which take the place of the old (and manifestly not async-friendly!) google_* window-level variables. If your Google Analytics integration required setting google_analytics_uacct="UA-zzzzzz-zz" before, then you should now add the property data-analytics-uacct="UA-zzzzzz-zz" to the <ins> instead, for example.

The classic show_ads.js tag is a battle-tested warrior with years of experience, running on millions of sites around the web. The upstart adsbygoogle.js is in beta and may not be as robust yet. Give it a try and please let us know if you run into any problems. But if you were jumping through hoops before to keep ads from blocking your content, try this out straight away. We think you'll approve.

Michael Kleber is the Tech Lead of the Ads Latency Team at the Google office in Cambridge, MA. Before coming to Google to make the Internet faster, he spent time as a math professor working on representation theory and combinatorics, as a computational biologist working on genome assembly, and on machine learning for speech recognition.

seo Top 5 Ways To Monetize Your Blog. 2013

Seo Master present to you:
There are various ways to earn money from your blog. Many webmasters start blogging for the sole purpose of making money but majority of them give up because they don't see any practical earnings in the beginning. However, money making from blog takes some time and the results are shown to those who continue even after seeing a little or no income at all in beginning. The real thing is to keep hanging up for some time, may be an year.

Here is a list of 5 different ways of making money to your blog. Choosing the right option for yourself depends upon your niche and the way of your blogging and you should give a research as to which form will earn you more. Or you can try some for days, and find out the best one for yourself.

1. Pay Per Click. This is the most widely used form of earning. As the name suggest, you get paid when a visitor clicks on the ads shown on your website. This method of earning is beneficial with websites/blogs receiving a lot of traffic, since only a small number of visitors will gonna click on your ads. The CTR (click through rate) is the number of clicks per hundred visitors. A normal optimized for ads website tend to receive about 3-4 % of CTR on an average. So earning from this method really needs a good amount of traffic.
Some of the most widely used PPC programme are

     ▌Google AdSense
     ▌Chitika
     ▌Clicksor

2. CPM Advertising. CPM is Cost per Mile. Instead of earning from the clicks you get on the ads, you get paid by the number of times the ads are shown to the visitors. Put it simple, the more pageviews you get, the more you earn, irrespective of any clicks. CPM advertisement is a sure shot mode of earning.

The rates are fixed per 1000 page views. That means if you get 10,000 visitors (page views) and the ad network is paying you a CPM of 1$, then you will make 10$. As you can see, for earning a small amount you need a lot of visitors. CPM advertising is best suitable for blogs with very high traffic. Getting a few hundred visitors will earn you penny for a day. The plus point is that you are sure of those pennies irrespective of clicks.

There are various CPM advertising networks like

     ▌Casale Media
     ▌Clicksor
     ▌BurstMedia
     ▌Tribal Fusion
     ▌Value Click media.

Some of these have minimum requirements. You can have a look on them by visiting their websites.

3. In-Text Ads. In-Texts-ads are contextual advertisements where keywords from your posts are selected and an advertisement is connected to it. The keywords are double underlined or dotted, and when a visitors hovers mouse on those keywords, the advertisement is pop up-ed. Here the payment is usually through cost per mile. The benefit of In-text advertising is that they don't take any space on your blog and normally do not lower your site speed.

The two most widely used In-Text Ads schemes are

     ▌Infolinks
     ▌Kontera

4. Affiliate Marketing. With this kind of advertisement, you earn commission from each sale that is done through your referral link. You write reviews about products and when some one buys any product through your referral, they pay you a commission.

     Lets say a network pays you a commission of 5%. If someone buys a thing with cost price Rs 100,000, you will make Rs 5000. That's a lot of amount to earn from CPC and CPM ads.

Affiliate marketing is favourite among some of the blogger since chances of earning much more is higher. However, setting up a fan base, reviewing products, and compelling people to buy a product is a hectic task.
Some of the affiliate Marketing networks are

     ▌ClickBank
     ▌AffiliateWindow
     ▌Commission Junction
     ▌Amazon

5. Selling ads spaces on your blog. Selling ad spaces on your blog to display advertising banners is a good way of monetizing blogs. This is a profitable thing, since all the money comes to you and no middle person/ company takes a part of your income. The interested advertisers contacts you, a deal is done and you are paid for banners you display on your blog. These can be CPC banners or CPM banners depending upon the advertisers choice.

You can still go to third party for managing of Selling-buying ads so that you don't have to deal with the complexities. However, then the third party will eat up a part of your income.

The major advantage is that you have the option of deciding the minimum rates for the ads you will show on your blog.

Do you use any other method to monetize your blog? Feel free to share it to the readers of this blog. Time to make some money.

seo Unmatched Ad Request in Google AdSense. 2013

Seo Master present to you:
If you are an AdSense publisher and monitoring your account regularly, you must have noticed "unmatched Ad Request". You can view it under Performance report > Bid type.

What is Unmatched Ad Request basically?
When a user visits your site or blog with AdSense Ad units, these Ad units sends a request to AdSense to display a relevant ad to the visitor. If there are no ads returned for this request, it is counted as unmatched Ad request. The ad units are then shown as blank spaces.

The problem is not that you are getting Unmatched Ad Requests. The real trouble is that some publisher will have more of these requests than others. The chances of earning from these ad requests are NIL since there are no ads served and there is no clicks or impressions pay.

Reasons for higher unmatched ad requests.
  • Using link units on site. If you are using link units on a blog/site, there will be higher unmatched ad requests. This is due to the fact that a matched ad request for a link unit is counted only if a visitors click on them. Since there are hardly any clicks on link units these days, these all are counted in unmatched ad requests.
  • Poor content. Chances are that your content is not receiving enough bidders due to poor quality contents. No one want to show ads on a web blog with low or bad quality contents. So, may be you are not getting enough ads as per ad requests. Some ad requests don't have ads to display.
  • Blocked list. If you block half of the advertisers, how could you fulfill all the ad requests your blog generates. So be careful about that.
  • Unusual ad size. Square or rectangle and more frequently used ad sizes have more bidders and hence lower unmatched requests. Don't go for any unusual ad sizes.

Although you know now what may be the reason for unmatched ad requests, you can hardly take any steps to shield yourself. Almost everyone keeps their filter list small. If you are approved by AdSense, there is almost negligible chances of poor quality content. And since Google is the leader in publishing-advertising market, number of bidders in most cases will never run out for an ad space.

How to utilize unmatched ad requests to your benefits.?
This is where back up ads come into the picture. While creating ad unit, Google asks for back up ads in case there is no ads to display. Link one such another ads from any other publishing network you are using. This is the most you can do with unmatched ad requests.

At last, you don't need to really worry about unmatched ad requests unless you are earning from AdSense. There is no any such negative aspects of it, and there is hardly anything you can control. You can at most write quality contents to attract maximum bidders, use more obvious ad sizes, keep your filter list small.

seo Even more ways for developers to optimize with AdSense 2013

Seo Master present to you: Last year, we announced that developers can earn revenue by showing ads in two of our products, the GoogleBar for Local Searches on a Google Map and the Custom Search element for site-restricted and other curated searches. Today, we're happy to announce two new AdSense product updates to help monetize your website.

AdSense for search ads only
AdSense for search allows publishers to add Google search functionality to their site and monetize from search ads. The Custom Search element is a prime example. However, despite the power and flexibility of the element, you may want to show ads next to your own non-Google search results. With AdSense for search ads only, developers can now include AdSense for search ads on their pages, paired with their own homegrown search results.

AdSense for Ajax
The other side of AdSense is ads targeted to content on your site. In this case, developers turn to AdSense for content. But what if your content isn't crawlable by search engines or uses Ajax to dynamically update without a page refresh? Now you can deliver AdSense for content ads via AdSense for Ajax, which allows you to give hints about your uncrawlable content. Even better, it allows you to refresh the ads dynamically when there is a context change.

If your site is a good fit for either, or both, of these offerings, sign-up for AdSense for Ajax or AdSense for search ads only today! Learn more about them from the AdSense Blog post.

seo How to Hide Blogger Sidebar to Display AdSense For Search Results 2013

Seo Master present to you: When visitors are searching for content on your blog, you have the following options to display the search results: opening the results in the same window, in a new window or within your own site using an iframe.

But the best option is to display the search results in your own site/blog, mainly because you are not sending people off your blog and when they are taken to a new page of search results, so it could be confusing many times because it doesn't look anything like your site or Google. Therefore, displaying the search results within your site, could look more professional and could also increases your page views and your revenue from the ads on the search page.

A problem that many bloggers are facing is that the page which displays the AdSense for search results must be at least of 800 px wide, so the posting area must be of minimum 800px and there's nothing like that in most of the blogs.

So, what we will do in this tutorial is to set up the search results to be displayed in a static page (none of other posts or pages will be affected) where we'll remove the sidebar, so that we'll have enough space to make the post/page section of 800px wide. Also, we will create a static page specially designed for the search results, then create a new AdSense for search in our AdSense account and finally add a small snippet of code top in your Blogger template to hide the sidebar in that specific page.

Search results span the width of the page with the sidebar hidden:

Display AdSense For Search Results Within Blogger Page

Step 1. Create a new static page on your blog, you can give it the title 'Search Results' but leave the content section empty and then Publish the page.

Step 2. When you publish the page you have the option to add the page to a menu, choose the third option 'No Gadget Link To Pages Manually' click 'Save and Publish'. OR in case this screen will not appear, right click on View Page and select Copy Link Address. We will need this URL of the page when creating the AdSense for search.

Step 3. Go To Your AdSense account, then go to My ads tab, select the Search option and Create a New custom search engine. Follow the steps until you come to the Search results option.

Step 4. Select the 3rd method "on my website using an iframe", then Enter the URL of the page you created into the URL field and continue.

Step 5. Follow the rest of the set up process, at the end you will be given two pieces of code. The first piece of code is for the actual search bar that you can paste into a Html/Javascript gadget in your sidebar or wherever you want it. The second piece of code you must copy and paste into a new HTML/JavaScript gadget and after clicked on Save - drag it above the Blog Posts area

Now that you have your page set up with the search results code and your search bar code in your sidebar, it is time to add a snippet of code to your template to remove the sidebar.

Adding The Code In Blogger To Change the Results Page Layout

Step 1. In Your Blogger Dashboard, go to Template > Edit HTML - then click Proceed

Step 2. Select the "Expand widget templates" box

Step 3. Find (CTRL + F) the following piece of code

</b:skin>

Step 4. Just below it, paste this code:

<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "PAGE-URL-HERE"'>

</b:if>

Note: Replace PAGE-URL-HERE with the url address of the page where the search results will be displayed (the one you have added at the step 4)

Step 5. Now Save Template and you're done!

This simple trick allows you not only to hide the sidebar in the search results page, you can, as well, hide it in any page you want... just create your page and follow the same steps. It is also good to hide the sidebar in Privacy Policy Pages, Contact Pages and in all the non-content-based pages with little content or no content at all.

The aim of sending the Adsense PIN to Publishers is to ensure the publisher that he/she is really the resident of a specific country which One has enter in One's Google Adsense Account.And the 2nd most important aim is that to ensure the Publisher receives his/her Cheque of earnings which is sent by Standered mail.

  • Click On Payment Option
  • Now You will see an Option at that Page i.e Request for new PIN Code,Just Click On That and request for new One

  • Now time to get rid of " On Hold ",this time after 3 weeks i.e 21 days you will see another option at that page which will lead you to another page/forum which can easily help you to request the Adsense Team to verify your Address Manually.
  • Click On that Link,it will redirect you to a form where you have to enter your Publisher ID,name and other information.
  • But the most important they will ask you about to provide a Scanned Copy of your Government Issued Card or ID Card which contain the details of your residence.You must provide an ID in which the detail about the Adreess matches with the Adsense Contact Address.
  • Now when you upload the ID
  • Google Team will email you in 5 minutes and will inform you that "Congratulations ! You will never have to enter the PIN in future,Adsense Account Payment Hold is removed Regards Adsense Team."

seo Tips To Avoid Your Google Adsense Account From Getting Banned 2013

Seo Master present to you:
As many of you already know, Google Adsense is the most popular and generous advertisment service from Google that gives you recurring income. However, some people don't bother to read the Adsense policies and they usually violate AdSense Terms and conditions without knowing and as a result, later to find out that their accounts have been disabled. Many times, fraud clicks are the main cause. But there could be many other reasons for an Adsense account to be disabled.

So, if you want to keep your Google Adsense account safe, please read and keep in mind the following rules:

  1. Never use adult, violent or advocating racial intolerance content on your site.
  2. Never copy paste any article from any other website. Google can easily find out which one is original.
  3. Never click on your own ads. Google can analyze all the clicks made on your ad units.
  4. Never place above your Adsense ad units texts like "Click on ad below", "Please click below" etc. instead you can use label headings as "sponsored links" or "advertisements".
  5. Never say your friends to click on your ads on social networking websites like Facebook
  6. Don't put unwanted links, pop-ups on your website. Keep interface quite neat and clean with proper navigation and all. Google also looks for the quality standard of websites.
  7. You must have a privacy policy page which must contain a description about the use of Google AdSense on your website. This is the latest policy introduced by Google. Many webmasters don't know about it which results in their account getting banned.
  8. Hide Adsense ad units from Contact and Privacy Policy page (read here to see how you can do that) Place ads only on Content Pages. Advertisers pay only for content based ads.
  9. Never display Adsense ads in floating boxes with images or texts that could overlap or cover the ads. However, you can use floating text, images on your website under the condition they don't play with your Adsense ads.
  10. Never place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any web page.
  11. Do not confuse with adjacent images - It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors. Read more about this here
  12. Do not send your Google adsense ads code to anyone.
  13. Never place your Google ads any unit under any drop down menu, if you do so you are Violate Google Adsense TOS.
  14. Never place Adsense ads on empty pages (pages with no content), pop-up pages, error pages, contact forms or registration pages.
These rules are the minimum requirements for maintaining an AdSense account in a proper way.
Whenever needed, it is better to ask for adsense help from the learned staff of Google Adsense. At least, you'll get authorized and very helpful tips from them! Good luck and be wise :)
