seo WordPress SEO Tips 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Wordpress SEO Services
Being one among the highly recommended and used CMS / Blogging platforms WordPress needs no introduction at all. If I am not exaggerating the facts, 7 out of 10 websites use this massive platform to grow and respond well to the users. Alike its other CMS counterparts, WordPress do enjoy the availability of several add-ons, plug-ins and widgets to enhance various functionalities altogether.

TIPS TO MAKE YOUR WORDPRESS SEO A BIG HIT

On a number of occasions I have seen that some of the plug-ins included in the website act ambiguously that results a serious dent on your SEO efforts. Needn't to mention that it may put-off visitors from visiting your site. If you own a WordPress based website(s), I am here to tell you out certain striking SEO fixes that you can tweak to get the things right.

FIX 'H1' TAG ISSUES

Earlier WordPress 3.0, the major bluff I used to spot with almost every themes was its enthusiasm to tag blog title with 'H1' irrespective of the title of posts and pages. Google considers 'H1' a very credible and most important tag that offers great relevancy and emphasis to your blog posts / pages. This is why I would like to suggest you to focus on below stated points while working with 'H1'

H1 Tag image
  • On Home Page, use H1 tag for your blog title.
  • For individual post, use H1 for page title.
  • Use H1 for Category and Tag titles as well.

LET CATEGORY AND TAGS GET INDEXED

You must have used categories and tags in your WordPress blog and managed it properly. Both these components are the great source of inbound traffic thus you take every care of them. Wrap them individually with a proper H1 tag and don't forget to add description for tags and categories as it can be a potential place to have internal links to the pages.

ADD GOOGLE AUTHOR PROFILE ON WORDPRESS

I don't know whether or not you use Google+ but a profile on Google+ will certainly a nomination for something good out of your WordPress SEO. Google allows authors an opportunity to associate author profile image next to the article written by him/her. Using Yoast SEO plug-in, you can add author profile to your website. All you have to do is browse your profile and add the link to your Google+ page using ?rel=author tag.

USE WEBMASTER TOOLS AND ANALYTICS

Both of the search engines Google and Bing has their own webmaster tools to help you out in comprehensive data tracking. If you are still waiting for one, this is the high time to have one. If you are a SEO services professional, I would also recommend you to install Yoast SEO plug-in for either of the webmaster tools you are using.

OPTIMIZE IMAGES ON POST / PAGE

Having images for every post on your WordPress blog isn't enough at all. You must optimize every image in very accordance to your blog characteristics. You must have an idea about the primary properties that an image contain. Let me recall theses in order as Title, Alternate Text, Caption, Description, Link URL, Alignment and Size. Please remind if I missed one. While publishing an individual blog post make sure you fill-in every field to optimize a particular image.

seo Bad Merchant? Google May Drop Your Rankings Later This Year 2013

Seo Master present to you:

Had a bad experience purchasing from an online merchant? Google says it wants to protect searchers from that, and it may crackdown later this year with changes intended to prevent bad merchants from ranking well.
The news came during the “How to Rank Better in Google & Bing”session that I moderated yesterday at the SXSW conference in Austin. Google’s chief web spam fighter Matt Cutts responded to concerns one merchant had about bad competitors outranking him.
Cutts said:
We have a potential launch later this year, maybe a little bit sooner, looking at the quality of merchants and whether we can do a better job on that, because we don’t want low quality experience merchants to be ranking in the search results.

Google’s Previous Crackdown

This isn’t the first time Google’s done a crackdown. In November 2010, the New York Times ran a big feature about a sunglasses merchant called Decor My Eyes, and how the owner Vitaly Borker was convinced that people complaining about him online helped him rank better. The exposure of his bad business practices later lead to Borker getting a four-year jail sentence.
Whether those bad reviews really did help Decor My Eyes do better is debatable, but for whatever reason, the site was doing well in Google at the time, despite having such bad reviews.
Google reacted with unprecedented speed, making a change within days that it said would penalize bad merchants. It never explained what factors were used to issue penalties, not even confirming if poor quality reviews had an impact.

Looking At Signals Beyond Bad Reviews?

Of course, if Google already has a system in place to penalize bad merchants, why are they apparently still ranking well, in some cases?
I’ll try to follow up further with Google about this, but one factor might be the continued growth in fake reviews. You can’t rely solely on reviews for assurance a business is really good.
That, of course, would mean that reviews were being used as part of the previous crackdown. Cutts seemed to confirm this when I asked that if Google is already using review data, then what other signals would it turn to as part of a renewed effort.
Cutts replied:
We are trying to ask ourselves, are there other signals that we can use to spot whether someone is not a great merchant, and if we can find those, and we think that they are not all that spammable, then we’re more than happy to use those.

seo Announcing Google I/O 2013

Seo Master present to you:

Its been about a year since I last blogged about a big Google developer event. During that time, we’ve seen a number of new technologies emerge which developers can use to build killer web applications. OpenSocial, Gears, and Android are a few that come to mind. But there is also a lot to learn if you really want to get the most out of these products.

That’s why I’m excited to announce Google I/O, a two day developer gathering on May 28th & 29th in San Francisco. The purpose of the event is to bring developers together to learn about products, tools, and techniques which are moving the web forward as a platform.

We've divided Google I/O into five topic areas: AJAX, APIs & Tools, Social, Geo, and Mobile. There's, of course, a focus on Google products, but the event won’t be limited to just Google APIs and developer tools. There is a lot of knowledge about web development in general at Google, and we’d like to share that expertise so that all applications on the web get better.

Over the two days, Google engineers and other leading software developers will share their knowledge in breakout sessions, hands-on Code Labs, and Q&A Fireside Chats.  Just a few of those speakers and what they'll be covering:

  • David Glazer, Director of Engineering - OpenSocial
  • Mark Lucovsky, Director of Engineering - AJAX APIs
  • Brad Fitzpatrick, Software Engineer - Social Graph API
  • Dion Almaer, Technical Program Manager and co-founder of AJAXian.com - AJAX
  • John Panzer, Technical Manager - Shindig
  • Guido Van Rossum, Software Engineer and creator of Python - Python and Google APIs
  • Chris DiBona, Open Source Programs Manager - Open Source
  • Bruce Johnson, co-creator of Google Web Toolkit - Google Web Toolkit

We're doing our best to make this a can't-miss event for web app developers. Visit the Google I/O website to learn more and register.  Space is limited, so be sure to make plans to attend now.

PS. If you are wondering whether we’re still having our global Google Developer Day series, the answer is a definite yes. We’ll be rolling out Developer Days to a number of countries outside the US. Look for an announcement of dates and locations soon.

seo Hide/Show Widgets/Gadgets in Home/post/static/archive pages in Blogger 2013

Seo Master present to you:
As some of you may have noticed, all the widgets/gadgets you add to your blog, will be displayed on all the pages by default, including the homepage as well. And I'm sure very few know that AdSense could disable your account in case you've put ad units inside the content of your contact or privacy policy pages. Therefore, hiding certain elements inside your blog pages is not only a matter of design, but it is also a requirement.

To hide (or show) widgets in particular posts, static pages, homepage or archive pages, you can use conditional tags.

Step 1. Go to Blogger's Dashboard > Layout and name the HTML/Javascript gadgets that you have already added. Doing this, it will be easier for you to identify the widgets that you have in your Blogger's template. Give it a unique title so that it does not match with any of the titles of any other widgets already added.

Step 2. Next thing to do is to go to Template and click on Edit HTML

Step 3. Select the "Expand Widget Templates" checkbox.

Step 4. Find the widget's title in the HTML by using Ctrl+F and entering the widget's name in the search box.
Let's say that the title for one of my widgets is "Recent Posts". After searching for the widget's name, I will find a similar code in my template:

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

This code represents the widget/gadget that I have added in the Page Elements location (Layout).

Step 5. After you've found your widget's code, add the following conditional tags marked with red just below and above to hide the widget from specific pages or posts in Blogger. For instance, in case you want:

To show the widget only in Homepage:

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

To show Blogger widget only in post pages

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

To show the widget in a specific page

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "URL of the page"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

Note: Replace URL of the page with the address of the page in which you want the widget to appear

To hide a widget only in a particular page

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url != "URL of the page"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

To show widgets only in static pages

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "static_page"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

To hide widgets in Static Pages

<b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "static_page"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

To show widgets only in Archive Pages

 <b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Recent Posts' type='HTML'>
<b:includable id='main'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "archive"'>
<!-- only display title if it's non-empty -->
<b:if cond='data:title != ""'>
<h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2>
</b:if>
<div class='widget-content'>
<data:content/>
</div>

<b:include name='quickedit'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>

Step 6. After you have added the conditional tags, Save Template and view your blog.

seo Steve Souders: Life's Too Short, Write Fast Code (part 2) 2013

Seo Master present to you: By Steve Souders, Member of Technical Staff

I've been working on a follow-up book to High Performance Web Sites called Even Faster Web Sites. As I finish chapters, I talk about the findings at conferences and tech talks. The first three chapters are Split the Initial Payload, Load Scripts Without Blocking, and Don't Scatter Inline Scripts. You can hear about those best practices in my video from Google I/O.

This talk presents the next three chapters: Couple Asynchronous Scripts, Use Iframes Sparingly, and Flush the Document Early.

The adoption of JavaScript is growing, but the blocking behavior of external scripts is well known. That's why it's important to use one of the techniques to load scripts without blocking (see the Google I/O talk). But loading scripts asynchronously means that inlined code that uses symbols from the script must be coupled in some way. Without this coupling, undefined symbol errors occur when the inlined code is executed before the external script arrives.

There are five techniques for coupling asynchronous scripts: hardcoded callback, window onload, timer, script onload, and degrading script tags. All of the techniques work. Degrading scripts tags is the most elegant, but isn't well known. Script onload is the most versatile technique and is the one I recommend people use. In the talk, I then go into detail, including many code examples, on how to load scripts asynchronously and use these coupling techniques to speed up your web page.

Iframes have a negative impact on web pages. They are the most expensive DOM element to create. They block the parent's onload event (although there's a workaround to this problem in Safari and Chrome). Also, the main page can block resources in the iframe. It's important to understand these interactions if you use iframes in your page.

Flushing the document early allows the browser to start rendering the page and downloading resources in the page, even before the entire HTML document has arrived. But getting flushing to work can feel like trying to get the stars to align. You need to understand PHP's output_buffering, HTTP/1.1's chunked encoding, Apache's DeflateBufferSize, the impact of proxies, minimum HTML size requirements in Safari and Chrome, and the need for domain sharding to avoid having the HTML document block other downloads.

If your company wants a better user experience, increased revenues, and reduced operating costs, the key is to create even faster web sites. For more information on these best practices, watch the video below and read the slides.

    seo Finding success in the Chrome Web Store 2013

    Seo Master present to you: Chrome Web Store logoEven though the Chrome Web Store launched in the US just a few months ago, some developers are already seeing great results. From games to productivity apps, the store has helped all kinds of web applications grow.

    Our friends from World Golf Tour, Sliderocket, Wikinvest, Todo.ly and Springpad share their experiences with the Chrome Web Store through five brand new case studies. While each of these developers has a unique view point, some common themes have surfaced:
    1. The Chrome Web Store can help you acquire more users really fast: For example for Todo.ly, users of the Chrome Web Store app account for more than 50% of the web site’s traffic.
    2. Chrome Web Store users are very engaged with apps: Springpad and Wikinvest report that Chrome app users spend up to 100% more time interacting with the app, than a typical visitor spends on their regular website.
    3. You can improve the monetization of your app through the Chrome Web Store: Premium apps like the World Golf Tour and Sliderocket report significantly higher conversion rates for Chrome app users than the rest of the user base and a growing percentage of business leads originating from the store respectively.
    4. Posting your app in the store requires relatively little effort: The app publishing process in the store is smooth and required little to no custom work for all the developers, profiled in the case studies.
    If you are interested in publishing your app in the Chrome Web Store or learning more about how the Chrome Web Store can help your business, explore our developer documentation and join us in our developer forum.

    seo Sitemap for Blogger and Wordpress 2013

    Seo Master present to you:
    What is a sitemap? A sitemap is a list of pages of websites that are available for crawlers of search engine to be accessed. In simpler word, its just a collection of all links on your blog at a place. When a crawler crawls your blog, it just read that list. Its necessary that you know your sitemap as many blog submission directories ask for your sitemap to be submitted. Even Google's webmaster tool asks you to submit your sitemap so that they can keep track of your blog.

    How to get a sitemap?
    To get your sitemap, just append  /robots.txt to your domain name and a short page will appear.

    http://www.y2do.blogspot.in/robots.txt

    You will get a web page like this.

    The link marked here is the sitemap for your blog.
    The above process is also applicable to Wordpress blogs.

    However, the default sitemap will contain URL's of about 25 latest posts only.
    To include all your posts in the sitemap,

    [Your Blog URL]/feeds/posts/default?redirect=false&max-results=[Number of Posts]

    e.g.

    To include 500 posts in the sitemap for my blog www.www.matrixar.com i will have a sitemap like,
    http://www.www.matrixar.com/feeds/posts/default?redirect=false&max-results=500

    This will include 500 posts in the sitemap.

    seo How to create Google Adsense Account 2013

    Seo Master present to you:

    Google AdSense is the most popular option for monetizing online content, but sadly enough, many bloggers don't know how to create a Google Adsense account. Creating a AdSense account is very easy thing to do and for being accepted you just need a website or a blog indexed by Google, which should contain a minimum of 10 pages and most important, not violating Google Adsense policies.

    Apply Account Approval

    Before anything else, you have to apply for a Google Adsense account.
    Just go to the Adsense homepage www.google.com/adsense and click on the "Sign up now" red button.

    Now you must complete the Adsense registration form:

    Step 1. Select your Google Account to continue

    Step 2. Tell us about your content: enter your main website/blog URL where you want ads to be displayed, then select your website content language.

    seo 10 จุดสุดยอดในการใช้ Keyword ในการทำ SEO 2013

    Seo Master present to you:
(Drop Down Menu) Drop Down Menu
    9. ใช้ keyword ที่บริเวณคำอธิบาย ลิงค์ (Text Link Title) การใช้ Text Link Title นั้นคล้ายการใช้ Tag Alt เพียงแต่ Tag นี้ใช้อธิบาย Link ตัวอย่างการใช้งาน [a href="http://www.yoursite.com" title="Keyword"]Keyword [/a]
