With the new directions gadget from Google Maps, any business can offer customized Google Maps directions to their business locations. With the directions gadget, you no longer need to type and update multiple sets of text directions. Let's face it: customers are only looking for directions from their specific location.
Last week, I looked up directions to the hotel in Sacramento that I had booked for the 4th of July weekend. As I had never been to that part of the state before, I was puzzled by the limited directions offered by their website - I had no idea whether I was approaching from the North, South, East or West or where the major highways were. What I needed were step-by-step directions from my exact starting point to the hotel that I could easily print and go.
Google has made this process easy for you. By copying and pasting a single line of code, any website can offer customized door-to-door directions powered by Google Maps to their users.
The gadget allows you to pre-fill the "To" field with one or multiple addresses. Customers are able to print their directions with a single click. And for those who prefer not to drive, the gadget also provides walking and public transit directions.
If someone enters a vague starting address, they have the option to specify a more exact address, which will then fly into the "From" field.
Providing directions from Google Maps is very flexible; in addition to run-of-the-mill addresses, you can give your customers directions to everything from a generic ZIP code to a specific set of latitude-longitude coordinates for any of your locations.

Money is important to make the world survive. Can you exist without money? Definitely no one can do that. Money is a lifeless commodity very much needed to make you live. It is easier to earn money than to save it. Money plays a vital part in all stages of our life. But the shift towards
achieving monetary affluence is somewhat acquiring a monumental proportion, thrusting aside everything as trivial.
A man is called successful only if he is financially well off. You must work hard, because you need money to look after your family. Your children’s education depend on money, no one is going to provide education for free. You must plan your future in such a way that you have savings in your bank to tide over bad times.
If you do not save, you will be in tremendous pressure when you have to pay your children’s school or college fees. You might need money for shifting to another place, or for some medical expenditure. The need for money is endless.
There were days when I felt love was enough to survive in this world. We were a very close knit family. My husband and daughter gave me more and more love. We were not that well off financially, but that did not stop our laughter. I thought those who said money was the most important thing in the world as someone who had not experienced the beautiful family affinity I enjoyed.
But things started roughening and slowly we came to the bitter truth that money was indeed very important in surviving in this world. As my daughter grew, the need for money also grew, but the sad thing was my husbands business was running into heavy loss. There came a time when we had to burrow for our survival itself. Relatives ignored us; we were after all people worthless, with no money. Who wants relationship with a poor family?
We became even closer, shutting the world to us. But that was not the end, just the beginning of my misery. My husband was diagnosed as suffering from renal failure. ‘Where to go for money needed for his treatment’, I vowed not to seek the help of our relatives. We had one ancestral property and I started burrowing money from our tenant. There were times when I would ask the nurse in the hospital to look after my husband and rush to our place, hundred kilometers away, for money. Those were the nightmarish days. The sad part of it was my husband did not survive.
Yes, love will help us tolerate financial stress, but you need money to overcome your problems, no one is going to help us in our time of hardships. Relationship dwindles to nothingness when you are without money. But, what is the use of money when there is no love. Money can buy whatever the world has got, but it cannot buy happiness. You can buy a house with your money but you need love and care to make it a home. You might be a citizen of a rich and powerful nation but you need a good neighboring country for you to live peacefully.
You must be financially independent. It gives you the power of being what you want to be. You will not become anther man’s slave for want of money. You can give the best education to your children, buy a beautiful house and also take your family to tour the world. These are just the monetary benefits you will achieve; you need to nurture relationship to make you happy, because you will feel empty without love.
So you must be emotionally inter -dependent to make you whole. Financial independence and emotional inter dependence are like a railway track, both should run parallel for your life train to reach its destination, safely and smoothly.

After announcing Webmaster Tools spring cleaning earlier this quarter, it’s time to do the job. There are a few changes coming along: an updated navigation, revamped dashboard, and a compact view for the home page site-list.
We’ve regrouped the features in Webmaster Tools to create an improved navigation structure (shown on the left-hand side of the above image). We distinguished the following groups: Configuration, Health, Traffic and Optimization. Each group represents a related set of functionality:
If you have a moment, please take time to familiarize yourself with the new Webmaster Tools navigation. Some features were slightly renamed, such as HTML Suggestions became HTML Improvements, however the functionality remains the same.
Hoping you’ll find the new navigation useful, we also think you’ll like the new Dashboard. At the top of the Dashboard you can see recent, important, prioritized messages regarding your site. Just below that, you’ll find another section which provides a brief summary of the current status of your site. There are three widgets displayed: Crawl Errors, Search Queries and Sitemaps, each representing a different navigation group: Health, Traffic and Optimization (respectively). We know your time is valuable. With the new Dashboard, we've surfaced more messages and charts to let you see how your site is doing at a glance. Take a quick look before diving into the details.
Finally, those of you who manage a large number of sites can choose to view your site-list in a 'Compact' layout, without the large site-preview thumbnails. Don't worry, if you want the more expanded layout you can always switch back.

Now you can use a Sitemaps extension to provide Google with exactly this information. For each URL you list in your Sitemap, you can add additional information about important images that exist on that page. You don’t need to create a new Sitemap, you can just add information on images to the Sitemap you already use.

Hangouts
Sometimes you might want to chat with your users face-to-face. For example, if you run a food blog, you may want to invite a chef to talk about her favorite recipe, or if you manage a fashion review site, beauty specialists might want to hold how-to sessions with makeup tips. Hangouts make this easy, by letting you have high-quality video chats with nine people with a single click. You can use Hangouts to hold live forums, break news or simply get to know people better, all in real time.

Circles allow you to group followers of your Page into smaller audiences. You can then share specific messages with specific groups. For example, you could create a Circle containing your most loyal readers and offer them exclusive content.

All right, you got hacked. It happens to many webmasters, even despite the hard work you devote to prevent this type of thing from happening. Prevention tips include keeping your site updated with the latest software and patches, creating an account with Google Webmaster Tools to see what's being indexed, keeping tabs on your log files to make sure nothing fishy's going on, etc. (There's more information in the Quick Security Checklist we posted last year.)
Remember that you're not alone—hacked sites are becoming increasingly common. Getting hacked can result in your site being infected with badware (more specifically malware, one type of badware). Take a look at StopBadware's recently released report on Trends in Badware 2007 for a comprehensive analysis of threats and trends over the previous year. Check out this post on the Google Online Security Blog which highlights the increasing number of search results containing a URL labeled as harmful. For even more in-depth technical reports on the analysis of web-based malware, see The Ghost in the Browser (pdf) and this technical report (pdf) on drive-by downloads. Read these, and you'll have a much better understanding of the scope of the problem. They also include some real examples for different types of malware.

Lots of webmasters use shared hosting, which can make it difficult to do some of the things listed below. - If you can't take it off-line, return a 503 status code to prevent it from being crawled.

- It's a good idea to figure out exactly what the hacker was after.
- Were they looking for sensitive information?
- Did they want to gain control of your site for other purposes?
- Look for any modified or uploaded files on your web server.
- Check your server logs for any suspicious activity, such as failed login attempts, command history (especially as root), unknown user accounts, etc.
- Determine the scope of the problem—do you have other sites that may be affected?
Recovery
- The absolute best thing to do here is a complete reinstall of the OS from a trusted source. It's the only way to be completely sure you've removed everything the hacker may have done.*
- After a fresh re-installation, use the latest backup you have to restore your site. Don't forget to make sure the backup is clean and free of hacked content too.*
- Patch any software packages to the latest version. This includes things such as weblog platforms, content management systems, or any other type of third-party software installed.
- Change your passwords - https://www.google.com/account

- If you're a Webmaster Tools user, sign in to your account
- If your site was flagged as having malware, request a review to determine whether your site is clean

Seo Master present to you: Google Wave was first unveiled at Google I/O in 2009, alongside our first draft of Wave APIs and specifications for the open-source world. We worked hard this past year to bring you a host of new features on our first birthday at Google I/O 2010: open sign-ups, attachments and data APIs and open-sourcing of a significant Wave component, the rich text editor.
From seeing demos in the Wave pod in the Developer Sandbox to having conversations with attendees in person, we were excited to see all of the ways people are using Wave and the Google Wave Federation Protocol inside enterprises. It was extremely valuable for us to hear your questions and feedback in person and via the session waves.
For developers out there who weren't able to attend I/O in-person, we hope you can join in virtually by watching the recorded videos of the various talks.
