seo Blogging for beginners : 4 basic steps 2013

Seo Master present to you:
The blogging world has high number of enthusiasts joining daily and the number of failures is also increasing in proportion. However, as a beginner, if you can keep some of the basics and key points in your mind, it will lead to a long blogging career of yours. Here are some of the points for beginners which will help you in going a long way. These points may not be for people who take it as a hobby.

  • Know your niche.  Define a particular topic that you are going to write about. It may be your passion, your interests, a topic that you love to debate upon, or something of your choice that won't bore you. You should have in your brain what you will write about on your blog. You should not start writing about 'body building' after writing some posts on technology. That's don't seem good. So, decide a particular topic that interests you. If you are passionate about something, then perhaps you are done with this point

  •  Be consistence. Write regularly if you want people to read your blog. Be consistence. There are 1000s of young bloggers emerging everyday and you have to keep competing with them too. Even if you are way ahead and remain standing there, you will soon be over-taken. People who have find your blog useful will come back to it. Give them something new or they will perhaps never return. Anything more than 2-3 posts per week is best. The number depends on how much you are already estabilished. If you have 10 articles so far, you need to write much more than someone who have 100.

  • Popularize it. Market it. The number of visitors increasing day by day will motivate you to do better. So, popularize your blog. Its not that you create a blog, and people will have a dream about it and they will visit it. Go on Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn. Start from your family members, friends, and their friends. You will see rising of your contacts list and the number of visitors. A blog's success is somehow counted by the traffic only. You have to tell the world about your blog. Atleast initially.

  • Keep learning. As you move along in blogging, you will encounter several new things such as SEO, Link building strategy, etc. Get familiar with them. Learn them. Whatever you will learn, it will help you someday. Trial and errors is the best practice for blogging. You try a thing, if you succeed then you go on with it. Else, you try something else.
These points are the four basic point a beginner blogger should keep in mind. Most of the people will agree to these points. However, if you are innovative enough you may choose another path. People who think differently are usually the one who succeed. Its up to you.  However, if you are contradictory, do mention it in comments, I would love to have a discussion with you.

seo Leaving comments on another blog 2013

Seo Master present to you:
Leaving comments on another blog is a favorite way for bloggers to communicate with other people in their niche. Its also an old and popular way of link building and driving consistent small traffic. However, these days the over doing of commenting just for the sake of link building has increased. I receive a lot of junk comments where its written, "Nice post, please visit here [Link]". Its useless for me. And I remove them as soon as I see them.

Its fine to promote Link building through Leaving comments on a blog. However, there should be some general standards which should be maintained while commenting.

  • Meaningful comment. The best way to comment is to read the complete post, and if questions pop-up in your mind, go and ask it. Without going through the post, its most likely that you will end up commenting something irrelevant to the post. By the way, reading is always good. Spend some time in it. Then frame a meaningful comment.

  • To the topic. Don't write anything un-related to the content. Try to indulge in a conversation with the author and with other audiences of that blog and that's only possible if you comment keeping in mind the content of the post. The basic is still the same, go through the post before posting a comment. One of my friends recently corrected my post, and I was really thankful to him. It made me feel good that people over the internet are connecting with me. Here is the comment he wrote to me:

  • Don't spam. Will you accept some one spamming your website which you build it with lots of efforts and lots of time? No. No one is gonna accept that. So, never spam. Keep blogosphere clean. Keep it as clean as you want it for yourself. You are just wasting your time and other blogger doing that. Writing 'nice post' on 50 different blogs will get you traffic but not reputation. You will love to be called as 'spammer'? I don't think.

  • Don't take it as a link building. Take it as an opportunity to communicate to the author of the blog. Don't just write something like 'Nice post', 'Good work', 'Post is awesome'. If its not nice, the owner of the blog had not posted it on internet. Be relevant. Treat the traffic from that blog as bonus to your reading you have done on that blog and the time you had spent there.

  • Always follow up your comments. Chances are that your comment will receive updates from the owner of the blog. Keep the conversation open. Keep following that comment. The author himself will feel connected with you. You might end up with a blogger friend at the end.
If you have any other points, lets have a conversation over 'commenting' in comments section :)

seo How to select best topic for your blog 2013

Seo Master present to you:
The most important question after deciding to blog is how to select the best topic for your blog. Are you blogging just for fun or you have plans of making money? There is a difference. If you are blogging for fun, you write for yourself. If you wanna earn money, you write for the audience. You should try to find a topic suited to both the things.

  • Find a topic which you are interested in. If you create a blog which do not attracts you content-wise, how can you think of others to be attracted to it? Write about something you are passionate about. Select a topic which you will love to Google Search.
  • Stick to a particular topic. There is no point writing about 'blue whale' on a recipe blog. Stick to the   topic you started with. Its always better to target a particular audience. If you are maintaining a blog for body building, you hope to see visitors who are interested in it. Trust me, they will be really frustrated if they find a "laptop review" there.
  • Fun or money?. If you are doing it as a hobby, you don't really need to worry about. Just go and write about your favorite athlete, places, or anything. But if you wanna blogging as a source of income, try selecting a topic which not only interests you but also to a large number of people. Just sit and think what you search daily, and try to get an image of what other people search for. Try to select any such topic.
  • Think about the competition. If you start a blog which already has been over-written on the internet, then its less likely for you to get visitors. Those websites or blogs are older than you, containing more posts, indexed in search engines and much more.Competing with them with a brand new blog would be a messy thing. Try to find a topic which is less written about and is interesting. And by the way, even there is a large competition in the area you wanna write, go for it. Who cares man!
  • Can you write about it enough?. It must not happen that you run out of contents to post. Select a topic which you can write about for a long period of time. Starting a blog on "Nokia 5233" model will lead to 'nothing to write situation' after a time. Try writing about 'all Nokia models'. Its just a example!! Contents will be the key.
I have created a lot of blogs. Some as hobby, some professionally to earn some money. I have failed at times. But i am still continuing. Go on with whatever you started. That's the mantra for success.

seo First step towards blogging 2013

Seo Master present to you:

The first step towards blogging is to choose a blogging platform. To decide which platform is best for you is surely depends on your personal interest. Its totally your wish to choose your the best blogging platform for yourself. It may be blogger, wordpress, hubpages or blog.com.

Blogger.com If you are a beginner, have no past experience in blogging and wants a less complicated platform then blogger suits you the best. Its easy, simple but its simplicity comes at the cost of its less incorporated features. Its better for earning cash since it can be easily integrated with adsense and its dashboard contains a separate adsense part. And being a Google part, you have a better chance of getting adsense approval too. There are a lot of templates to select from for your blog, with the facility of using any third party template for your blog. With blogging as simple as drag and drop methods, its best if its your first step towards blogging.
Cons of blogger is that it has less features and customization is poor. The inbuilt themes are poor and don't give a professional look.
Pros are its a lot easier for beginners. Direct integration with adsense. Third party templates are allowed and best suited for beginners.

Wordpress.com It provides a blog with .wordpress.com domain. Its free just like blogger. It has more customization features as compared to blogger with more beautiful and professional themes. The cons of wordpress is that it don;t allow javascripts so you may not able to put your adsense code in it unless you host the complete website yourself thorugh wordpress.org. The various plugins and templates associated with wordpress makes it the choice for professional bloggers but its complexity is against it.

Hubpages.com Hubpages has emerged as a fast blogging platform with in built Search Engine Optimization features which ensures that your posts are automatically listed in Google search and are enhanced accordingly. Its relatively new but is growing at a fast rate. It can easily be customized with amazon or adsense for ads serving, and with its increasing popularity in blogging world, it may prove a better choice.

Blog.com Its not so popular like the above platforms but is no mean in features as compared. It has the best facility of sharing files to the world which is not allowed in blogger. Its less used property may provide you a better domain. Its domain includes .blog.com. Templates are professional looking and it provides a better user interface.

My opinion. If you are here, you must be a newbie. Start with blogger. Expertise with its different features. Get used to it. Try adsense with it. Earn some money. Try Search engine Optimization. Try different templates. Learn on your own. Its best. After all, its Google. Make blogger.com your first step towards blogging.
