1. Avast free Home Edition Antivirus : This is the best antivirus programe with a good database of virus signatures and virus lisitng and has a very good  spyware detection rates. It has managed to provide a simple functional user interface with an easy customizable feature settings, capable of monitoring and protecting the system in a seven different ways through which a virus or a malware can infect any PC’s i.e. Web browsing, email, file sharing and more. It has also built in automatic startup scanning if you are willing to do so.

2. Avg Antivirus Free Edition: AVG also have a very good reputation throughout the users and offers one of the best free antivirus programs. It can detects both viruses and the spyware from its free version also. Its major setback is its detection rate of viruses which is comparably lower from its competitor (However this is for the system which are low in recourses)

3. Avira free personal Antivirus: This is another free anti virus product with somehow less features in comparison with the above two. Its free version is not capable to detect the spywares but if you have another security for spywares you can opt for this free version as it also has a very good user interface and is also one of the best antivirus products. It has highest virus detection rates as with comparison for another products.

4. Spybot Search & Destroy: This is also a free verion of remover and destroyer of adware files and modules from the Pc’s. It is the most favorable programe if you use your computer on shared networks as it can clean all programs and web usage tracings. This can also fix and monitor registry tracings changed by adware and malicious program installations.

5. Spyware Terminator: This is also free full feature adware and spyware scanner to remove or delete spyware, adware, trojans, key loggers or other malware threats. This has a manual or realtime scanning capabilities suits to your nature. It has several other features like File analysis tool, system restore, Locked file removal, integrated spyware reporting and several other features. It also has a automatic update feature.

6. Super Antispyware : It is also a very popular antivirus software claiming of having over one million virus defination database. It can also easily remove pests adware like Winfixer, SpyAxe, SpyFalcon, Spyware, Adware, Malware, Trojans and several other threats. It has features like quick complete and custom Hard drive scanning including Removable drives memory scanning , registry fixing and much more with a very light system resources uses.

7. PC Tools Antivirus: Suitable for the most of average users with a very easy and simple interface and able to detect and remove threats from two different scan modes. 8. Spyware Blaster: This antivirus can prevent your system from Active-X based spyware, adware , browser hijackers, dialers and other internet threats throughout the day. This can keep your system free from spywares and block unwanted tracking programs. And one unique feature of it , that it does not always run in the background.

10. ViRobot: This program does have many nice scanning capabilities – you can scan email attachments in real-time while they are downloading from the POP3 server. Viruses will never make it to your inbox. ViRobot has had several problems concerning effectiveness. It consistently fails VB 100% tests. The program did pass level 1 & 2 Checkmark from West Coast Labs.

But plz make note that all of these free version have some lack of capabilities which have been left in favor for their paid and enterprises editions but for overall these all have a very good scanning engines for virus and spyware removing.

Embedded chat in a website provides the ability to more closely connect with your readers or customers, depending on the instance. Chat widgets provide real-time feedback and spur thought-provoking discussions - features lacking in e-mail. However the disadvantages should be acknowledged too. In some cases, widgets may slow down the page load or take away from the overall site experience rather than enhance it. However I encourage everyone to give some of the following chat widgets a try and make your own conclusions. Let's take a look at some of the top ones...

1.MeeboMe

MeeboMe is the leader in the space. This spin-off of the original multiple client chat (Meebo) is a nice, simple chat widget. It features publisher status, user nickname editing, and sound control. Also be sure to check out MeeboRooms, launched earlier this year.

2. Plugoo

Plugoo is a slick little chat widget that enables you to talk with site visitors via your IM client. In other words, you can work as usual without having to keep an eye on the chat box. Then if someone initiates a chat, a message will pop up on your IM. Great concept.

3.Mabber

Mabber is a simple, basic chat widget. No frills or gimmicks. It has an easy set-up process and intuitive interface, which makes this a good choice if you're looking to add a little something extra to your site.

4.Pladeo

Formerly InCircles, Pladeo is beautifully designed Flash chat widget. Some might call it overkill though. Site owners can choose a vertical or horizontal layout, as well as the color. Nicely designed, but it may take away from the rest of your site.

5.Userplane

Userplane is a more sophisticated chat offering. I found the sign up process to be a bit tedious, but the end product was worth it. The company launched a revenue-sharing program in May of this year.

6.Geesee

Geesee is highly functional and robust, yet it's also a cumbersome service. I found the interface and color scheme to be a bit childish, although I suppose the service is tailored as a more 'fun' offering than some of the others.

7.Gabbly

Gabbly is a slick, multi-user chat widget. The service also provides RSS and audio functionality. I found it to be a pretty good overall offering, unless you're looking for something extremely basic.

8.Chatango

Chatango is a personalized chat widget. The set-up was easy, yet it still provided a high level of customization. The interface wasn't the slickest, but it was intuitive. Overall though, I thought Chatango was mediocre.

9.Zoho Chat

Zoho Chat was one of my favorite services that I tested. It is extremely easy to set-up and very slick. The widget is very simple to use and professional-looking. [disclosure: Zoho is a R/WW sponsor]

10.ParaChat

ParaChat is more of an application than a widget. The embedded chat box is a "presence" and feels like it's part of the website. However the look n' feel is very web 1.0 and the ads take away from the experience. Overall, I wasn't overly impressed.
