What are the benefits of submitting feeds like Video Sitemaps and mRSS vs. the benefits of Facebook Share and RDFa? Is one better than the other? Let’s start the discussion.

Functionality of feeds vs. on-page markup

Google accepts information from both video feeds, such as Video Sitemaps and mRSS, as well as on-page markup, such as Facebook Share and RDFa. We recommend that you use both!

If you have limited resources, however, here’s a chart explaining the pros and cons of each method. The key differentiators include:
  • While both feeds and on-page markup give search engines metadata, Video Sitemaps/mRSS also help with crawl discovery. We may find a new URL through your feed that we wouldn’t have easily discovered otherwise.

  • Using Video Sitemaps/mRSS requires that the search engine support these formats and not all engines do. Because on-page markup is just that -- on the page -- crawlers can gather the metadata through organic means as they index the URL. No feed support is required.

Dengan adanya sitemap, akan memudahkan search engine untuk mengcrawler blog kita. Nah....selain mendaftarkan blog kita di google, satu hal lagi yang wajib anda lakukan supaya bisa di indeks search engine yaitu dengan mencantumkan sitemap blog kita. Nah....bagaimana caranya..?? ikutin aja langkah2 di bawah ini :

1. Login di http://www.google.com/webmasters/ dengan menggunakan id dan password account gmail anda.
2. Jika belum memasukan situs anda silahkan daftarin dulu. Kalo udah langsung aja menuju sitemap --> add sitemap
3. Pada kolom choose type, pilih add general web sitemap
4. Pada my sitemap URL (Url Blog anda biasanya sudah ada) isikan RSS atom.xml
5. Klik OK dan selesai

Yap begitulah cara mudah untuk mendaftarkan sitemap blog anda di google.

Bila Terjadi Eror
Tentang google sitemap untuk blogspot, karena ternyata google sitemap untuk blogspot suka error atau warning jika kita menambahkan atom.xml sebagai sitemap blog kita. Nah..untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, silahkan hapus sitemap yang terdahulu yaitu atom.xml dengan atom.xml?redirect=false. sebagai gantinya dapat dilihat di sini

seo Perbaiki Google Sitemap Error 2013

Seo Master present to you: Kalo kata o-om sih "ga akan lengkap kalo komentar tanpa emotions". Yupz..emang betul banget sih kayak gitu soalnya dengan adanya emotions kita jadi bisa mencurahkan perasaan kita. Nah...untuk pasang emotions di Kotak Komentar ini sebelumnya anda harus sudah pasang dulu kotak komentar blogspot, kalo belum silahkan menuju ke bikin kotak komentar di bawah postingan blog. Kalo udah langsung aja ikutin cara2 ini :

Langkah #1 (Pasang Javascript)
Anggap saja anda sekarang telah berada di menu edit HTML, Silahkan copy paste kode ini persis diatas kode tag body penutup --> </body>
