Blogger is a blogging platform of Google. Meta Tag appears in Google Search Results just below the title of the post and is considered by Google while it is ranking & it also determines what your site is about. So, Meta Tag description is an important part in SEO. Here I will explain the process of Meta Tag description and add in blogger platform. To enable Meta Tag in your blogger hosted Blog just do the following: 1. Login & go to your Blogger Dashboard. Go to Settings and Click on Search Preferences.  2. Click on Meta Tags Description and then click on ‘Yes’ to enable it. Add the description in the text box within 150 Characters. Finally Click on Save Changes.  How to Add Meta Tag for Individual Posts After completing the above process now you can add Meta Tag for individual post. For this purpose just follows this process: 1. Go to any post at your Dashboard & Click Edit. 2. Just under the Post Settings, you will see one option called “Search Description.”  3. Write Description for your post (Meta tag) in search description text box. Write your description under 150 characters. Finally click ‘Done’. Meta Tag description is important in SEO because it helps you to get some decent traffic for Search engines.
